june / july 2008

june started off with delirious shows again on the 5th in slovakia and the 6th at frenzy festival in edinburgh scotland. my parents were over from ireland aswell so it was great to see them too.

on the 11th I started a mix for survivor records, the peoples album 3. i really enjoyed that. paul evans and ben cantelon were the producers, and they'd done a great job with the tracking so my job was made a lot easier.

I finished that on the 23rd and headed off to the usa on the 24th. we played scaramento, saddleback, anaheim, dallas, richmond and philadelphia with delirious getting home on the 30th.

i made some mix tweaks to the peoples album and did a couple of compilation albums the week i got back and then headed out again to the usa on the 8th july and played daytona beech, atlanta, a day off in nashville which was spent guitar and gear shopping, fort wayne and oshkosh, getting home on the 14th july.

on wednesday 16th, rudi myntevik from norway came down to the studio and i began mixing a live album for him. i worked on a studio album with him last year so it was great to see him again. i finished that on the 22nd, and headed off again to Detroit for 3 days with Delirious. I'm sitting in a hotel room in the Hyatt place right now wrinting this on the 24th, and I'll be home on SUnday.
