january 2009

another new year. i started back to work on january 2nd beginning pre-production on the spring harvest new songs album. this album took up my first two weeks of the year, and on the 14th i headed off to bangalore in india for 3 days with delirious. we played 3 nights there at a joyce meyer conference with darlene czech and her band.

from there we headed on to china and beijing where we played a club called starlive. it was a great show. really weird going from outdoor venues in india with 30,000 people to a club with 1000. i'd spent 10 days in beijing around april time last year so it was great to be back and hook up with some people I'd met back then especially daniel tedder, son of mark who's album i'd recorded out there.
we had a day off for some sightseeing there before we headed home on the 20th.

I was back in the studio on the 21st, recording guitars with Dan wheeler on the Spring harvest album and spent the rest of the month working on that.
