may 2008

on the first of may i started a mix in a studio in hasslemere with a good producer friend of mine andrew moxon. i met andrew too many years ago when i was working at icc, and he came in one day to master his album. we've been in touch since then over the years, and he's now got a really nice studio in his house. I spent five days there mixing an album for a singer/songwriter called chad marriot. really good songs nice arrangements, great voice. a really nice 5 days. i was getting home from there each night and trying to spend a couple of hours in my own studio finishing off the live mark tedder project aswell. I'd done the mix, but now had a few tweaks that needed done, and also some edits of bits we'd decided to leave out.

on the 9th of may i was on a tour bus with delirious and we played our first gig in clitheroe in the north of england with new drummer paul evans. I've worked with paul loads of times so it was an easy transition from stew. on the 10th we headlined the ultimate events concert at alton towers and on the 11th we played in rouen in france. we got home on my birthday on the 12th, and headed off again on the 14th to kansas city in the usa followed by montreal and chiliwach in canada returning home on the 20th.

on the 24th i headed off to france again with the family on a camping holiday.
