may and june 2009
may was filled up with delirious trips to usa and germany, an album mix for singer songwriter andrew moxon, and a family holiday in germany at the end of the month.
In june work started on a new project at the bottom of my garden. i'd been needing to get my studio out of my loft. it was always meant to be a temporary thing, and the room was small and getting smaller as i accumulated more gear. i'd been looking around town for the right building, but decided to build a log cabin at home and work out of there.
the new studio arrives on the back of a truck
and gets unloaded one piece at a time
it gets built by the pro's.
'the shack' was finally finished (near enough) at the end of june just in time to start a full length album with ian yates for survivor records. i'd done a demo with ian about 7 months previous which had ended up on a compilation album, and now it was time to start an album project.
