october 2008

over the last few months I've been working on some one-off tracks on a series called survivor singles. I started october off working on 2 more of these with martin cooper. martin is a good friend of mine who happens to lead worship in my church. these 2 songs along with 2 i'd recorded earlier in the year with james gregory and 2 i'd recorded with nick herbert are going to be released on a new survior compilation album.

i also spent a day recording a demo with ian yates from liverpool. great song and a great guy. we're hoping to do more together in the future.

i spent a very enjoyable sunday in the studio recording guitars with stu g, for a new album that is coming out on the 'one voice' label, before starting out on a UK tour with delirious on october 10th. tree 63 were the support band for this which made it all the more fun. we played brighton, tunbridge wells, bristol, cambridge, oxford, london, exeter, liverpool, leeds, inverness and finished up in loughborough on the 25th.
