september and october 2009

I was in the usa twice in september with delirious, and once in mexico for a show in mexico city. I also mixed a really nice record for phil baggaley called the time project. it's a charity album in aid of Helen And Douglas House, a hospice providing care for children and young adults.

i started mixing the ian yates album at the end of september, into october. it came out sounding great. this was the third project to be mixed in the new studio, and so far everyone is loving working here.

after ians mixes, i mixed 5 tracks for an artist called olwen ringrose which were produced my mark edwards, and then headed back to the usa with delirious for some shows in colorado, which is probably my favourite place in the usa especially as its the home of mark and carrie tedder some of my most favourite people in the usa.

after colorado, i flew home for 2 days and then headed back out to dallas for what would be the final delirious shows ever in the usa. that was a great trip but also pretty sad. we have a lot of good friends out there, and it was cool to get to hang out with some of them after the shows for the last time. our hotel was just a couple of blocks away from where jfk was assassinated, so lighting tech hutch and i did the museum there one afternoon which was pretty interesting.
