september and october 2010

mary prentice recording some bv's on the newday album in the shack.

i finished off the newday album in september and we mastered at abbey road with geoff pesche on october 1st. no trip to abbey road is ever complete without a quick look into studio 2 where the beatles did so many of their recordings. i've been in many studios all over the place but abbey road studio 2 still gives me goosebumps.

the rest of october i spent in the shack working on compilation albums for kingsway music, edits for a soon to be released single from indie band 'dweeb', mastering an album for prog rock band 'jonesy', their first release for 35 years, and also some time at Street studios in rustington recording vocals with tim hughes for his new album being produced by martin smith.
