january and feburary 2010

january i started another album for spring harvest, like i have most january's for the last 6 or 7 years. i enjoy working on this album, but the challenge is always to make sure each years is better than the year before. I think we succeded once again.

I spent a week in my own studio programming up the songs, playing some guitars and putting down some guide vocals, then moved into ICC studio 1 to track drums bass and guitars. Mark edwards added some keys and live strings, and then we moved into icc studio 2 where we recorded the vocals, before finally moving back to the shack for the mix.

in feburary i finished off the spring harvest mixes, and then mixed an album with producer julian wiggins for integrity music. the artist was bonnie rufus a singer songwriter and worship leader based in hong kong.
