August - september 2007

august 1st, saw me set off to Uttoxeter to recprd the newday live album for survivor records. i enjoy this event mainly because rach and the boys come with me. the line up this year was matt redman, paul oakley and simon brading. i returned home from there on the 8th, and started into the edits and overdubs straight away.

i had a little break from it, on the 21st and 22nd where i spent a couple of days tracking some demos for brighton based singer songwriter kit ashton, with producer mark edwards. we had 2 great days at icc in studio 2, and i spent the next few weeks back on the newday album apart from monday 27th where it was off to greenbelt for a headline slot on mainstage with delirious.

we had the newday album done and dusted by spetember 11th and mastered with ray staff at alchemy in london on monday 17th.

on 19th i set off for the states with delirious and got back the following sunday 23rd, spending the next week working on some demos for martin cooper, mixing some tracks for a band from seaford called burnthouse, and mixing a live 8 track ep for vera cruz, coming out as a limited edition release through fierce distribution. be sure to get one.
